Remarks & Notes
An all 4 axle consist on the head end of Paducah and Louisville train LG2 made an awesome sound as it climbed through the cut at Rosine, KY. The Louisville Gas & Electric train with 88 cars had an assist from a single SD90MAC DPU on the rear. The deep cut was created when the Rosine Tunnel was daylight by the Illinois Central in the late 1960’s.
