| A set of leased Norfolk Southern GP40-2s provide power for an Amtrak ballast extra on the Northeast Corridor. Track 4 has been out of service between MIDWAY and COUNTY Interlockings for a few months now due to a tie and rail replacement project. KN702 carefully backs down track 4 into the work area. The consist will be dropped here, with NS 3030 returning to Adams Yard light. NS 3032 and 3031 will easily handle this 20-car train on the following day. |
