Remarks & Notes

Two former Northern Pacific GP9s on Montana Rail Link's Paradise Local run around their train to head back to Paradise. I'm standing on the Milwaukee Road's Pacific extension right-of-way which crossed the NP (later BN) here in St. Regis. The portion of the bridge over the main line that was taken out was re-used by the MRL to cross Sixteen Mile Creek when MRL extended the siding at Lombard. On the other end of the bridge is a golf course that has obliterated the old Milwaukee.
