Remarks & Notes

A tiny Rio Grande line side phone booth bakes in the hot summer sun near the Gomex spur switch in Spanish Fork. The D&RGW placed these along passing track switches and hand throw crossovers on the mainline before engines and cabooses were equipped with radios. One of these antiques was still on hand at Gilluly in 2013.
