Rio Grande SD40T-2 Tunnel Motor No. 5400 leads a Union Pacific DVROM freight westbound through Tunnel 29 east of Pinecliffe, Colorado, on the morning of April 12, 1999. The 5400 was one of the few Rio Grande locomotives that still retained its nose-mounted headlight (gyro light) even after acquiring ditchlights, making for quite the light package!
