| Magnificently restored former Southern 2-8-0 385 is the centerpiece of the Whippany Railway Museum. During the late 1960s and early 1970s the 385 was on the roster of the Morris County Central Railroad. For a good portion of those years, the Morris County Central trains departed from Whippany. The Whippany Railway Museum has preserved several pieces of Morris County Central equipment. Currently, sister steam locomotive, USA 0-6-0 4039 is being restored to service. The Morris County Central lives at the Whippany Railway Museum! |
