Remarks & Notes

Looking more like N&W than C&NW with their long hoods facing outward, CNW 894, an SD40, and 2 of CNW's 7 U30Cs await their next assignment at the Altoona, WI engine facility on a crisp January 1970 day. CNW 894 was built in 1967, the GEs in 1968, and the trio still looked pretty new.
