Remarks & Notes
A perfectly matched quartet of Utah Railway SD40s lead an eastbound coal empty through the Red Narrows of Spanish Fork Canyon. The Utah was very busy hauling unit coal trains in the early to mid-1990s, with at least two and sometimes three turns from Provo to the mines in 24 hours. My how times have changed.
