Remarks & Notes
A late morning northbound departure of the White River Junction to Newport, Vermont, Washington Co. Railroad train WJNP is seen rolling through Norwich, Vermont behind VTR GP40-2s 303 and 307. The conflicting mile markers identify separate mileages - the S128 identifies the mileage to Springfield, Massachusetts, while the 36 is the mileage from Wells River, Vermont - both throwbacks to the Boston & Maine history of the route.
