Remarks & Notes
#13 was an early morning mail train out of Newark to Altoona, my usual method of getting there. At Harrisburg, these Baldwin beasts were assigned the run to Pittsburgh. The "T" in the model designation indicates semi-permanently coupled ("twin"). By the way, our power for the Newark-Harrisburg segment under the wires was a 2-D-2 electric class R1, #4999. BLW Model designation DR-12-8-3000.

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
