| The Potash local out of Grand Jct., CO, only ran on Fridays down to Potash, UT, and back. The local used the Crane Creek Branch which was a very remote 37 miles of scenic branch line south of the mainline at Brendel, UT. Here the local heads back north out of Potash with a hand full of cars. This branch line runs near the Arches National Park and near Potash the lines follows close to the Colorado River. |
