| An old locomotive with a long history, back in 1998 it was working for Peavey at their elevator on Connors Point in Superior, it had been converted to Remote Control and had an awkward failure, hence no coupler on this end, it ran out of control and hit the bumper at the end of the track hard enough to dislodge the concrete bumper and hit the ship that was loading hard enough to put a dent in the hull. A few years later it was assigned to another elevator in Superior, then to the railroad museum in Duluth, where it was loaned to a local dock where the engine block seized ending it's long career, it eventually was scrapped in Duluth |
