Remarks & Notes

Train 14 racing north along the shore of frozen Upper Klamath Lake near Algoma. The third unit is NPCU 90253, in tow to return north to Cascades service. Steam rising into the cold morning air from a roadside pond indicates a warm water source. Mt Shasta is seen in the background.
