| This 3-foot guage Consolidated, as I understand it, was located to Idaho Springs by rail ... in other words it was donated to the city by being abandoned-in-place (ca. 1941) when the rail lines were pulled up. It is in good shape now, looking as if it's ready for the tracks between Denver and Silver Plume to be restored so it can move on its way! |
