Remarks & Notes
Caffey, Michigan consists of a short siding and a handful of residences, most now used as cabins. On occasion pulp/logs are loaded there for transport west but for the most part the biggest action of the day comes when a train rambles across highway H-40 activating the crossing signals. This is OACTI the empty ore loads from Algoma Steel in Sault Ste. Marie, ONT to Tilden Mine near Palmer, MI making its way west with 2553 and 6619 for power during the WC's last winter.
