Remarks & Notes

A nice mix of power leads a BNSF grain empty utilizing trackage rights via UP's Provo Subdivision at Riverton, Utah. The 69 car train is lead by B40-8 #7447, built by GE for the Santa Fe in April 1989. Power consists like this were common in first few years after the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe merged on Dec. 31, 1996.
