Blowin’ a smoke ring Only minutes from sunset, a Nevada Northern work extra pulled by 2-8-0 No. 93 smokes by at Hiline Junction siding, Nevada, on February 3, 2007. Amazingly, during this particular runby, the locomotive threw out a couple of smoke rings, one of which is captured here. This work train was operating as part of NNRY’s annual Winter Steam Spectacular taking place each February.
