| A rare chance to see a steam loco without its tender."Black 5" 45110 is about to recieve some routine maintainance at its home in the roundhouse at Barrow Hill,and has been separated from its tender for a short while.Designed by Sir William Stanier for the London Midland & Scottish Railway,these wonderful locos were equally at home on slow freight trains or fast expresses.Truly a "jack of all trades". |
