As 2011 fall colors approach their peak, the afternoon Bald Knob Train from Cass arrives at Bald Knob at an approximate elevation of 4,843 ft. Western Maryland "Big 6" and its consist of seven cars have just traversed the entire line from Cass, climbing stiff grades through some of the most beautiful parts of Appalachia. Happy 50th Cass Scenic Railroad State Park!
