One of Santa Fe's unique U30CGs sits in the engine facility at Cleburne, Texas, on March 3, 1973. Originally purchased for use on the Santa Fe's passenger trains, the General Electric U30CG featured distinctive corrugated side panels. GE only built six of these engines, with Santa Fe the only purchaser.
