| The Suiling Forestry Railway (762 mm gauge, about 2.5 feet) operates (or operated?) in northern Manchura from the city of Suiling into the woods. Despite being dieselized its future was very uncertain as logs run out due to overcutting. Replanting and sustained yield forest management are happening too late for most of the ng. forestry railways in China. |
