The 2012 Toys For Tots D&H North End train rolls over the Mohawk River after departing from Rensselaer, NY a little earlier. Amtrak Phase III heritage power brings up the rear of an all Amtrak consist. In the mid 1970's Amtrak's Adirondack crossed this same bridge on its way from Rensselaer to Montreal prior to being moved to its current routing via Schenectady in approx. 1979.
