| People living along Utah's Wasatch Front can't seem to get enough of rail transit. The latest addition to the system is the two mile Sugar House Streetcar line. It will connect to the Blue/Red/Green light rail lines at Central Point station (21st South), ending in Salt Lake City's Sugar House neighborhood near Highland Drive. The line is being constructed on a section of the former D&RGW Park City Branch, single tracked with one passing siding midway. UTA plans to open the new Sugar House Streetcar line in Dec. 2013. |
