Remarks & Notes
36 years in service and still going strong.Class 43 power car 43042 was delivered new in February 1977,and one can only wonder how many miles it has covered in main line use. Here it leads the 10.31 Cheltenham Spa to London Paddington service as it passes Little Haresfield, running a minute early, approaching Standish Junction, where it will take the "Golden Valley" route to London.
