| Early Monday morning finds the 12 leased VIA cars parked on 2 tracks at the Amtrak Albany-Rensselaer yard between the station and shops. The cars came down from Montreal on Sunday, arriving Rensselaer on Sunday evening. The CP-143 and CP-144 electronics cabinets can be seen on the left with the recently rebuilt Broadway road bridge and Amtrak Rensselaer Maintenance facility in the background. Shortly after this shot was taken the 822 and 43 turned the VIA cars on the wye and pulled the NB facing train set into the shops yard to prepare the train for its inaugural run on Tuesday 11-20. |
