The Utah Railway Company was power short in the late 1990s and turned to OmniTRAX for help. A pair of SD9s were leased for a short time, working as yard switchers. Here the OMLX 200 takes Christmas Day off at Provo Yard in 1997. It was built by EMD for the Duluth Missabe & Iron Range, later finding employment on the California Northern. After its stint in Utah, it would receive a chopped nose and a new number as the OMLX 1751.
