Vermont Rail System is the second carrier in the Green Mountain Gateway haul of ethanol from the Dakota's to Providence, RI and is seen downgrade in the heavy mountain fog at Ludlow, Vermont with the back half of the train - running as 644B (same train as this photo: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=414734 from day previous) behind VTR (Washington County) GP38-2 202, GMTX GP38-2 2189, VTR GP40-3 3808 and VTR GP40-3 312. Train is enroute for handoff to the New England Central at Bellows Falls, VT.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
