Remarks & Notes
Window of Opportunity While on an excursion from the B&O Railroad Museum to a site near it's maintenance shops, I had a chance to capture PRR #4876, the GG1 that is best known for crashing through the walls and floor of Union Station in Washington DC. The engine was rebuilt and later served not only Penn Central but NJT before being retired and donated to the Museum. She sits out of site, pending a future restoration.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
