| Westbound B&M symbol freight BM-3, headed for Mechanicville, NY, enters B&M's East Deerfield yard. This train will sit on the main as West Shore and D&H blocks are added to the original Boston Terminal consist. These GP9s are wearing the post bluebird livery and will continue in mainline service far into the 80's. The third motor has some issues that the engine terminal crew should be able to mend before BM-3 heads west. We thank photographer ken Patton for submitting this slide scan. |
