| EMD/CAT's brand new SD70ACe #1201 leads NS high & wide train 055 southbound under the signal bridge at Tunnel 25 in Oakdale, TN on a mild October evening. The 1201 had been debuted at the Mine Expo in Las Vegas in late September and was later a center attraction at the Caterpillar Museum Grand Opening in Peoria, IL before being placed into revenue demonstrator service with NS. Train 055 is enroute to Savannah, GA with several flatcar loads of CAT dozers and other equipment to be loaded onto ships for export. |
