After assisting 150 loaded coal hoppers over the Alleghany grade from Ronceverte to Tuckahoe, the Ronceverte helper returns west, passing the east end of the siding at 'Browns Mill', near the town of Ronceverte. Just three miles to the west, an additional 150 car loaded drag is idling downtown, waiting for the Ronceverte helper to couple onto the rear, and begin the assault back over the Alleghany grade.
