Remarks & Notes
Mercedes 914 Class rebuilt by Mopar in 97`s depart from Viacha bound Charaña stopped in the middle of nowhere at Calacoto location in the railway line from La Paz (Bolivia) to Arica (Chile). Two "Cholitas" leave the railcar at this one lost place at heart of Bolivian altiplano. After that railcar continues on it`s way to the small village of Charaña, in Chilean border. Amazing landscapes, nice and friendly railway crew and always unforgettable experience in Bolivia!

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
