| In addition to its normal route, during the month of October the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway runs two round trips each Saturday and Sunday from Jim Thorpe to the Hometown High Bridge along the former CNJ trackage west of Jim Thorpe. This day's second roundtrip is seen here passing through Borough of Nesquehoning behind freshly painted SD38 #2003. The trains are operated push-pull with another engine on the rear to lead the train back east to Jim Thorpe after reading the High Bridge. |
