Remarks & Notes
After departing the loadout at Tom's Fork with 150 loads of export coal, the train encountered a broken/rolled rail near the mining community of 'Miami', where 13 of the 150 loads derailed. While none of the cars over turned, R.J. Corman Derailment Services and other contractors were called in to assist with the cleanup. CSX's Cabin Creek Subdivision has encountered a total of three derailments since the December of 2009, all as a result of broken rails on the non-signaled block operated C&O branch line.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
