| This southbound (railroad east) is just starting to cut off the former Soo Line main on the new connection to the former Fox River Valley and C&NW line. The former FRVR/C&NW line on the east side of town was a much more favorable route through town. The former Soo main, which weaved it's way through the downtown area, was later removed from the downtown and south side areas. |
