Just 5 miles after the first derailment, the weekly Makhanga to Limbe passenger train has come to grief again - this time the fourth and fifth coaches have become derailed at speed and this time the crew can't solve it. As a result locals have started to bail out and continue their journeys on foot (or bicycle). From here the train was split and continued for another 20 miles where they could get mobile phone coverage and summon assistance.
