The trackside faithful at Scranton wasn't sure how this day was going to pan out. A few of us were starting to get nervous when the CNJ 1554 started acting up and the five Alco SPG Job was badly delayed getting over to the CP Taylor Yard under a beautiful blue dome day. Finally the PT-98 was able to get out of town by mid-afternoon and all the frustration of the morning's waiting quickly vanished with the sweet sound of vintage 244's storming in the Poconos. The crew had three lumber loads for Bestway in Cresco and only the interchange to swap at Slateford Jct.
