| Soon after the UP-SP merger, many former D&RGW SD40T-2s returned to home rails. Here a matched quad of EMD 'tunnel motors' lead a 44 car RODVM (Roper, UT - Denver, CO) through Price Canyon at the foot of Castle Gate, a Rio Grande icon utilized in early 20th century promotion of the scenic route through Utah. |
