This image was taken from the right hand seat of the Deseret Power Ry.'s E60 electric # DPR1. The location is around Milepost 3 on this western Colorado and eastern Utah coal hauler. The train had only just left the Deserado Mine loadout and was on the climb to the railroad's high point of Holum Pass. As you can see from the speedometer on the right side of the image the speed was 22 mph. The 3 E60's maintained this speed all the way to the top of the pass with this roughly 7200 ton train.
