| Only days after the tragic events unfolded in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania, my wife and I were on vacation on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to ride the Algoma Central and shoot some last minute WC photos. On this evening we had an incredible chase of the regular westbound ore empties, which concluded with this photo of the train passing the feed mill at Engadine. We also had the great pleasure of meeting local railfan and future RP contributer Chuck Schwesinger during some down time earlier in the evening at Trout Lake. Chuck was gracious to us out of towners and filled us in on some local info that really helped us out during the next couple of days. It's a little belated but thanks Chuck! |
