| On the afternoon of June 29, 1996, a westbound Southern Pacific unit sugar beet train circles the horseshoe curve at Caliente, California, on the busy Tehachapi Pass route. Four new SP AC4400CWs power the train, with Nos. 321 and 107 on the point and Nos. 266 and 282 operating in DPU mode on the rear. |
