Remarks & Notes
The morning run leaves Hill City and heads for Keystone with a train load of tourists. 110 is a 2-6-6-2 Mallet under a full head of hissing steam. It is about to begin the climb up the 4% - 6% ridge making lots of noise and smoke as it goes. It's quite the sight. The 110 is a Baldwin 2-6-6-2T Mallet, built 1928, and the last operating model of its type.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
