| The former Trans Europe Express RAe TEE II # 1053 made its first publicly advertised trip after the revision via the Gotthard route to Ticino and to the italian Luino on the shore of Lago Maggiore. The elegant trainset, dating from 1961, is tackling the Gotthard north ascent near Wassen. The white building above the train is a former signalman's house on the uppermost level, where the train will pass in about one minute. |
