| Remarks & Notes |
| With cylinder cocks open, Southern 630 marches out of Bristol, VA-TN toward a diverging clear signal at "Ford"--just south of the State Street Crossing. The famous Bristol sign was erected here in 1915, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. At night, it is illuminated by 1,332 bulbs. For this particular day, Bristol is a "Good Place to Watch Trains." |
