| Remarks & Notes |
| Deseret Power Railway’s E60 electric unit #DPR1 leads the afternoon loaded train westbound at the very summit of Holum Pass. This is the high point of this isolated railroad. The units have just crested the pass, but the train itself is still on the 2% grade leading to the summit. According to railroad employees this is the steepest grade on the railroad. The lead unit i at the spot of a serious mishap that occurred a few weeks ago. A broken support wire for the catenary allowed the wire to sag and it was caught by the passing train's pantograph. The result was a lot of wire pulled down and the pantographs of each unit torn off. |
