Wick Moorman actually brought up in his speech that he has been asked if the Penn Central is really Brunswick Green and the NS guy in charge of the application of the heritage designs chimed in that yes, its really Brunswick Green and Wick went on to say that he thought he could see it when compared to the 1030. So I was a skeptic too but that dialogue was good enough for me. I have also seen mentioned elsewhere that the PRR Brunswick Green paint had some copper in it and that would enrich the green over time when exposed to the elements.
