| Remarks & Notes |
| Largely forgotten and hidden off a back street behind a warehouse, Union Pacific's stylish depot in Nyssa, Idaho, still boasted a freight agent in the spring of 1987. One of the few "streamlined moderne" depot buildings on the system, it was built in the late 1930s around the same time the similarly streamlined Las Vegas depot was built. Its linear design, aluminum detailing and rounded end is true to the era but seemed an extravagance in a local as small as Nyssa on the giant Union Pacific system. |
