An impressive no longer possible view of B&O #4500 from 2005 when the engine was on display outside. This Baldwin engine was built in 1918 and is one of only 3 "modern" post 1900 B&O steam engines in existence. The other two would be B&O 4-6-2 #5300 at the Museum and 0-6-0 #1190 (formerly Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh Railway #152, later B&O #390 after merger in 1932) privately owned in Dunkirk, NY.
