| Welcome to the C&O Railroad Museum? Well, not quite, though part of the B&O Railroad Museum's collection contains CSX predecessors as seen here. From left to right, C&O 2-6-6-2 compound Mallet (1949 - Baldwin's last domestic steam locomotive), C&O 2-8-4 "Kanawha" #2705 (One of twelve survivors) and a Western Maryland BL-2, EMD's Branch Line Service diesel built in 1948 and retired in 1983. |
