| The Boone Time Machine... Charles City Western car No. 50 (built in 1915) passes the former Fort Dodge Line freight station in downtown Boone, Iowa. Electric traction was popular in Iowa up through the 1950s, and that legacy has been preserved at places like Boone, Mason City, and Clear Lake. |
